DR. PITCAIRN ON VACCINATION: CHRONIC DISEASE
Natural Rearing
I have been a raw feeder for over 12 years. I believe it is the best way to feed our canine friends.
I feed a variety of protein sources including, but not limited to, venison, duck, turkey, guinea hen, chicken, beef,
lamb, fish, and whatever else I can find on sale. I also feed green tripe and raw eggs. I supplement with
salmon or fish body oil daily. I feed organ meats about 4 times a week. I try to get a variety of those as well.
I feed no grains and limited veggies. I puree up leftover overipe produce (mainly leafy greens) and freeze
in ice cube trays. There is not much that goes to waste around here. I feed about 10-15 percent bone, and
I would say 5 percent veggies overall. Organ meats make up ten percent of the diet. I recommend people
do their own research on raw feeding. There is a lot of information available out there. I will add raw feeding
links soon! My dogs are the healthiest dogs I have ever had. I will add many things to this page
as I go along. With the recent pet food contamination scare, I think more people will find out about the
benefits of raw feeding, and will want to know what they are feeding their pets. Please feel free to contact me about
raw feeding or any questions or concerns you might have. There is a lot of false information on the internet, and you
have to know the source before you take anything to heart.
